New Directions for Sketches: Color! Big!

I've been sketching for about 2 years now, and those sketches evolved recently stylistically when I realized that a stronger outer contour made all the difference in the world. Now I'm trying to think about how to take the sketches to a larger scale, and so I've been experimenting with combining shapes and sketches into larger complex compositions in a limited color palette, mural-like and multi-layered. You can see some of these in the Reportage Sketching section, and prints will be for sale at both my RedBubble and Society6 pages.

This one is a combination of the sketches I did from the event America's Pastime Poetry and Fiction Reading by Vanilla Sex Magazine at Goodyear Arts this December, 2016.
