I started my live drawing project while living in Charlotte, North Carolina around 2014ish. For years, I went out into the world multiple times a week doing drawings straight from life, of anything I encountered in the city. This not a comprehensive, chronological record of every drawing (working on that), but are SOME OF the drawings from the Charlotte area from 2017-2018. The next portion from 2018-2020 is here.
When I did this project, I shared the drawings immediately on an instagram account called The Real Charlotte Observer. That account is no longer active but the posts are still up for now; I may delete it in the future.
